Spotlighting an old-growth California Live Oak atop the Faculty Glade, this work served as a pinnacle for the prior explorations of watercolor and pencil line weights. Zoomed-in views of branch, root, and leaf structures, as well as additions of light and depth culminate in this holistic display of the importance threatened species have on the environment.
